Leander had just about finished absorbing and refining the energy inside him. Now, with Sophia still trying to chat, he finally opened his eyes.

He kept it simple, saying his name as he shook Sophla’s hand. Unlike most guys, he let go right away. There was nothing lingering or flirtatious about it-just a calm, polite handshake.

Sophia didn’t know any of that. She just figured Leander didn’t want to get into his background, so she didn’t push. Instead, she switched topics.
The flight lasted seven hours. With nothing else to do, Leander didn’t mind chatting with Sophia. They covered everything-history, culture, world politics, you name it. As they talked, Sophia realized her curiosity toward Leander was turning into genuine admiration.
