Archer had agreed without hesitation. He would handle everything-keeping Ezra distracted, guiding him to the location, ensuring he arrived exactly when Lylah needed him to.
All Lylah had to do was be ready and wait.
But the moment she stepped onto the venue grounds, she felt it.
The disturbance in the air.

“Lylah? Ah, it’s good that you’re here too,” Cora said, her smile smooth, untouched by guilt. “That means you can witness my proposal and congratulate me directly p>
Lylah held her gaze, unmoved.
“I knew this was your doing,” she replied evenly. “Who else would drive out guests who had every right to be here?” Her eyes flicked briefly across the garden before returning to Cora. “Remember this, Cora-this place doesn’t belong to Ironcrest or Blackfang. You can’t do that p>
The words were calm.
But they struck.
Before Cora could respond, another presence surged forward.
