Chapter 182
I can’t move, I blink slowly, trying to focus as the world tilts strangely.
I hear something distant, some voices and muffled footsteps getting closer. I try to turn to check on Aaron but my head feels very heavy, so so heavy it feels like I’m drowning under water.
My eyes try to track the sound outside but everything is slipping and my head throbs.
Each heartbeat making it worse. I try to move my hand but it barely twitches.
The door i think they’re at the door, the footsteps stop right outside.
My chest rises so quickly I think I’m going to have a heart attack, which dims my vision further.
The last thing I hear…is the sound of the car door being yanked open and footsteps approaching.
Aaron aaron I…I need to help him, we need to get away from here I chant in my head as I weakly try to lift my head but then everything goes black.
When I come to, it fees like somethings is dragging me back, like I’m being pulled up through thick water.
My head is the first thing I feel. Theres a deep pounding pain sitting right behind my eyes like it’s trying to split my skull open from the inside.
I let out a small sound before I can stop myself. But it barely comes out cause my throat feels dry.
Slowly everythibg else follows in pieces. Thee cold against my skin, the stiffness in my neck, rhe dull ache running down my arm, and my fingers my fingers feel… numb.
I blink or at least I try to even my eyelids feel heavy like they just don’t want to open.
And when they finally do, everything is blurred, nothing is clear.
I breath in slowly the air smelling… stale.
My chest rises, falls so fast, I have to force it to slow down as my vision swims and the room tilts slightly. I swallow hard, fighting the nausea that creeps up my throat.

My voice sounds weak and barely there.
I don’t move yet i i can’t, not when everything feels like it’s shifting so I focus on breathing.
Just that.

It takes a while. I don’t know how long, minutes maybe?time feels off. But slowly… very slowly… things start to settle as the spinning eases just a little and the blur starts to thin. Nit completely but enough enough for me to start noticing things.
The first thing… i can’t move my arms.
My breath stutters as I try again, still nothing as my wrists strain slightly, pulling instinctively. Something digs into my skin tightly. I try to look down and even that takes effort as my head protests immediately, a sharp wave of pain forcing a hiss out of me.
But I push through it and that’s when I see it.there’s a rope tied tightly around my wrists.

My legs, I try to move them but same thing, they are bound tightly.
My heart starts racing again so fast it’s only the sound of it fills my ears.
“Fuck I whisper, panic starting to creeping in.
Ive been kidnapped the realization feels unreal.

My breathing picks up again, coming fast and unevenly.
“Okay…okay, calm down,” I whisper quickly, almost like I’m talking to someone else.

My head throbs harder with the panic and I have to squeeze my eyes shut briefly.
Calm down and think…You’ve seen this before right?. You’ve watched many kidnap movies people get out, they survive this.
You just have to think.

My hands flex again, testing the rope and it burns against my skin. The rop is too tight, way too tight.
But maybe…maybe I can loosen it or atleast try to.
I twist my wrists slowly and carefully but the rope seems to be biting deeper. I suck in a breath through my teeth.

I shift slightly in the chair and try to lean forward. Mayb If I can slip one hand p>
No. The rope holds firm, it doesn’t even budge and my fingers tingle painfully now. That numbness isn’t normal, I glance down again and my hands They’re slightly discolored, a hint of purple creeping in. My spikes again.

I pull harder this time desperately but th rope digs in deeper, shooting pain up my arms bt it doesn’t move nor even an inch.
My chest tightens.
I’m stuck. I’m actually stuck.
The sound of my own breathing fills the space again as I force myself to stop and slow down.
You’re going to make it worse by panicking.

I try again, trying to find even the smallest give…still Nothing. Nothing at all, my shoulders ache from the position and my head pulses again as a sharp, blinding wave of pain that makes my vision flicker go through my head.

I stop moving immediately as the room spins again, hardr this time and I squeeze my eyes shut, my teeth clenching as I try to ride it out.

Slowly nd carefully, so that have that blinding head pain again I turn my head toward the sound even though that little movement still sends another wave of pain through my skull, but I push through it as my vision struggles again.
Then slowly I see a figure across from me also seated and tied up
My eyes strain to clear.
And then i recognize him as the driver.
Relief hits me so suddenly it almost makes me dizzy again.
