“I heard from the servants that Clayton ordered the kitchen to prepare a feast with all the trimmings for some VIP guests, what’s all that about p>
“It’s all because of that wild child. He resembles Irene Hawkins a bit, and they took a liking to him. Pamela even stopped insisting on going to the pier because of him!
Clayton’s ‘VIP guests’ are that kid’s folks, they’re on their way to the Hawkins family to pick him up p>
Helen’s brows knitted tighter, p>
Larry added, “If there’s nothing else, I’ll head out. With Pamela in good spirits, I’ll try to get another bowl of soup to her.” “Alright, go ahead p>
