“Why didn’t you tell us you were coming?” she asked, laughing. “The kids and I would have picked you up at the airport p>
“We wanted it to be a surprise!” Clayton chuckled.

All five little ones were wide awake now, and seeing Clayton and Pamela sent them into an absolute frenzy of excitement.
They scrambled out of the car, practically tripping over themselves as they raced toward their grandparents.
Clayton ang Pamela were overjoyed, bending down to scoop the kids into their arms, showering them with hugs and kisses. The driveway was filled with the sound of happy giggles for several minutes.
“Where’s Tarquin?” Clayton asked, looking around.

“I thought you guys weren’t coming for another few days!” Elliot said, beaming.

The kids nodded enthusiastically in agreement.
The family made their way inside the sprawling mansion, the atmosphere bubbling with love and lively chatter.

Word of Winona’s arrival had reached the staff long before her car even pulled through the gates.
