Owen didn’t push the issue, knowing full well he lacked the concrete evidence needed to put Jocelyn behind bars.
His accusation was based on a trail of breadcrumbs he had uncovered over the

Richard glared furiously, looking as though he wanted to strike Owen, though he lacked the physical dominance to do so.

Jocelyn wailed in the background, acting as though Owen were personally strangling her son.
“How is it any different? All lives are equal. Were those men not sons to their own parents p>
Though Owen spoke quietly, the sheer authority in his words earned him looks of deep respect from the staff in the office.
Conversely, they shot Richard and Jocelyn glances of pure disgust.
“You… you… if I had known you’d be like this, I never would have let you return to the Lance Group p>
“I returned because Grandpa asked me to. It had absolutely nothing to do with you.
As far as I’m aware, you’ve never contributed a single thing to this corporation. You’ve only ever drained its resources.

Owen leveled a glacial stare at Richard. “When Lawrence ordered someone to flip that switch, did he not know those men would be electrocuted?

One of the shareholders protested.
“You have it completely wrong. The police arrested Lawrence; I didn’t send him to prison. He murdered innocent men and broke federal law. None of this has anything to do with me.
