Did you come here to help—or to discourage me?
“Father,” he said through gritted teeth, “don’t forget why you came p>
Aron clicked his tongue in frustration.

Just as he turned toward the stone house assigned to them, a familiar figure stepped out from the side.
Aron froze, startled. “Ming? You’re here too p>
Hadn’t this old white cat gone off to find his son? How had he ended up here?
Ming had just stepped outside, intending to go find the children.

His first instinct was to hide.

“Hah. Your son really knows how to run—ended up all the way out here in the wilderness,” Aron remarked.
Ming snorted lightly. “And your Yanai doesn’t p>
“This brat has always liked wandering—I barely see him as it is,” Aron grumbled.
Then his gaze shifted to Mino, curiosity sparking.
“By the way—what happened with your son’s broken engagement p>
He remembered clearly—this cat cub had once been just as determined as his own son to call off the marriage.
If Ming’s side had also broken it off, then at least he wouldn’t be alone.
If there was scolding to be had, they’d take it together.
Ming’s brows knitted, irritation bubbling inside.
