“Are… all of these really her cubs?” Taru turned to Finch, seeking confirmation.

“Yes,” Finch replied. “They’re all Nina’s cubs. Didi was the second to hatch p>
Hearing Finch confirm it, Taru staggered back a step.

Didi immediately turned and buried himself deeper into her arms.
He didn’t like this “bad grandpa” who had spoken harshly to his mother.
Taru’s expression hardened. “Didi, Grandpa was wrong earlier. Will you forgive me p>
He glanced helplessly at Finch for help—but Finch simply looked away, pretending not to see.

“They are,” Finch admitted. “Nina currently has two mates. Both are extremely handsome. One is already at rank ten—and he’s also a powerful priest. The other is at peak rank nine. Kith and a male from the lynx clan are her guardian beasts p>
A shadow of self-doubt flickered in Finch’s eyes.
