Nina looked up. A monstrous sea demon beast emerged from the darkness. It was dozens of times larger than the others—nearly a hundred meters long. Its gigantic body blotted out the dim light of the abyss like a moving mountain.
Before anyone could fully react, three additional sea demon beasts—slightly smaller but still enormous—appeared behind it.
Keil frowned. “Why are there three more…?”
His expression became increasingly serious.
“These three are probably extremely strong too. I don’t know if Lani and the others can handle them.”
Then he turned to Nina. “We kill the largest one first. After that, we’ll deal with the others.”
Nina nodded. “Alright.”
She had no way of accurately gauging the giant beast’s true strength, so trusting Keil’s judgment was safest.
Immediately, Nina and Keil joined forces against the massive sea demon beast.
Meanwhile, Lani teamed up with Aviel, Idir, and Lex to confront the three smaller giants. The remaining males battled the lesser monsters.
The waters of the abyss shook violently from the clash. Dark blood mixed with a foul, rotting stench spread rapidly through the ocean currents.
The three smaller giant beasts proved terrifyingly powerful.
Even Aviel and the others began struggling under the relentless assault.
Lani had just barely dodged the sweep of a massive tail when another attack came crashing toward him—a gigantic maw lined with rows of jagged teeth.
He instinctively tried to retreat, but he was a fraction too slow.
As the enormous mouth lunged toward him, filling his entire vision, Lani’s pupils contracted violently.
For one terrifying instant, his mind went completely blank.
Just as the beast was about to swallow him whole, a vine shot through the water like lightning, wrapping tightly around his body and yanking him away.
The monstrous jaws snapped shut on empty water.
Lani’s back turned cold. He had nearly died. If Nina had reacted even a second later, he would already have become food inside that creature’s stomach.
Throughout the battle, Nina had been keeping part of her attention fixed on Aviel’s side.
The moment she sensed Lani in danger, she moved without hesitation.
She turned toward Keil beside her.
“Grandfather, go help Lani and the others. They won’t be able to handle those sea demon beasts alone. Leave this one to me.”
Keil hesitated briefly before nodding.
“Alright. Be careful, Nina. I’ll return as quickly as I can.”
He had seen the situation himself and was deeply worried about Lani’s group.
“Go,” Nina said calmly. “I can handle it.”
The giant sea demon beast was indeed terrifyingly powerful, but she was not without confidence.
Keil nodded once before immediately rushing toward the others.
At this point, he no longer doubted Nina’s strength. Had he not witnessed it with his own eyes, he never would have believed that a female could surpass an ancient warrior like himself.

The beast screamed once more. Then its struggles gradually weakened. Its enormous body slowly went limp before sinking lifelessly into the depths.
The remaining sea demon beasts immediately scattered in terror and fled.
At last, the ocean fell silent once more.
Keil stared at Nina in complete shock.
