His gaze shifted toward the western side of the city lord’s residence. “But Drago has come looking for us. He wants his spirit stones back. How should we respond p>
“Tell him we’re not done using them yet. Stall him,” Yosan said.
He had taken the spirit stones earlier to strengthen his clone, anticipating a confrontation with Nina’s males. The activation of the sealing array had also relied on their power.
But he had not expected Nina to have bonded with the spirit pearl, her strength surpassing even his clone. She had destroyed it, taken his spatial stone, and the spirit stones were inside it.

Sen turned and left to deal with Drago.
Meanwhile, Yosan remained behind, still thinking about how to explain Nina and Idir’s escape to his Master.
Sen soon arrived at Drago’s residence.
“City Lord Song,” he said with a polite smile, “I’ve spoken with our High Shaman. He says the spirit stones are still needed for a while longer. They’ll be returned to you in a few days. How about this,I’ll compensate you with additional beast crystals. Just give us a little more time p>
“I don’t want beast crystals.” Drago’s eyes burned with anger. “Return the spirit stones immediately p>
Drago had already waited long enough. The longer they delayed, the clearer it became that they had no intention of returning the spirit stones.
“We truly still need them,” Sen said with a sigh. “Just lend them to us for a few more days. We’ll return them very soon p>
