“What’s so important that Owen couldn’t just handle it for you?” Dominic asked, clearly puzzled. As far as he knew, Owen was a top-tier executive who could manage almost anything.
“My junior partner designed a brand-new game. It’s incredibly complex,” Owen explained smoothly. Therefore, she needed to oversee it in person.
“You design games too?” Dominic looked genuinely surprised.
“Of course. That farming game that’s sweeping the country right now? My partner designed it p>
“Seriously? Well, now I have to tag along and see just how incredible this new game
is p>
“Don’t you have a massive backlog of work waiting for you?” Owen asked. He knew Dominic’s desk was likely overflowing with government matters.

As soon as they landed, the two men insisted on following Mira straight to Nexus Core Systems.
