Chapter 649
On Wednesday evening, as Mira and Leah Monroe approached their dorm, they could hear the explosive sounds of a screaming match before they even opened the door.
“Vanessa introduced that guy to me! And you just swooped in and stole him! Have you no shame p>
The furious voice belonged to Jillian Lowe.
“All is fair in love and war. The guy liked me better, so what’s it to you?” Piper Bennett shot back sharply.
Piper, who lived in Elara Finn’s room down the hall, wasn’t backing down an inch.
“Aren’t you already dating Wyatt Wright? How many guys are you trying to string along at once p>
“Who cares how many guys I date? I do what I want. It just means I have options. “I’m sure you’d love to string along a few guys yourself, but unfortunately, you’re way too ugly to pull it off. Nobody wants you p>

Jillian snapped. She launched herself across the room, tackling Piper straight to the floor.
Mira and Leah had barely caught the tail end of the argument before the physical brawl erupted. They quickly shoved the door open and stepped inside.
They weren’t stepping in to break up the fight; they just wanted to make sure the girls didn’t smash into their desks and destroy their things.
“Get up, both of you! Aren’t you embarrassed?” Vanessa Voss barked at the two girls rolling around on the floor.
Seeing Mira and Leah walk in, Vanessa immediately started yelling at her warring friends to stop.
But Jillian and Piper were locked in a vicious struggle, pulling hair and scratching, neither willing to be the first to back down.
Realizing she couldn’t pull them apart on her own, Vanessa stormed toward the door in a huff.
She was likely heading out to find backup.
The two brawling girls were thrashing around right in the middle of the entryway, completely blocking the path inside.
Mira simply stepped cleanly over their rolling bodies and took a seat at her desk. Leah, who didn’t possess Mira’s martial arts agility, tried to step over them a few times but kept getting clipped by flailing limbs.
“Just wait a second,” Mira called out to Leah. “Vanessa went to grab reinforcements. She’ll be back any second p>
Mira informed her calmly.
“How do you know she went to get help?” Leah asked, looking exasperated.
She frowned in confusion.
“What else would she be doing?” Mira shrugged.
“This is so embarrassing. We’re in college and people are still getting into catfights?” Leah scoffed in disgust.
The two girls on the floor were too busy screaming and tearing at each other to hear a word Mira or Leah were saying anyway.
Sure enough, two minutes later, Vanessa returned with two other girls in tow. Together, they forcibly pried Jillian and Piper apart.
“Let me make this perfectly clear,” Vanessa snapped, glaring at both of them. “If you ever fight like this again, you can forget about being my friends p>
She delivered the ultimatum with pure venom.
The two combatants scrambled up from the floor. Their hair looked like rat’s nests ther faces were covered in angry red scratch marks, and their clothes were completely disheveled.
Leah slapped a hand over her mouth to muffle her laughter, not daring to make a sound.
“Get out,” Vanessa hissed, looking at Piper with absolute disgust.
She delivered the one-word dismissal with lethal precision.
Piper “got out” and slinked back to her own room down the hall, but to Mira’s surprise, Vanessa and Jillian stormed out of the dorm right behind her, taking their drama elsewhere.
“Oh my god,” Leah burst into hysterical laughter the second the door clicked shut. “They looked absolutely ridiculous p>
She clutched her stomach, finally able to let it all out.
“Keep it down,” Mira warned with a smirk. “They might come back and turn on you next p>
Mira shot her a sidelong glance.
“They’re already out of their minds with rage right now,” she pointed out.
“Where do you think they went?” Leah asked, her curiosity piqued.
She leaned against her desk.
“Probably off to settle their little love triangle,” Mira guessed.

Truth be told, Mira had discreetly recorded the entire pathetic brawd on her phone. She could have easily sent the video to Harvey, ensuring,
Wyatt found out about his
girlfriend’s extracurricular activities.
But Mira couldn’t care less about other people’s messy love lives. She wasn’t going
to get involved.
