“Did Wyatt find out about the fight yesterday?” Leah whispered to Elara.
She nudged her friend.

“Who else? Her worst enemy,” Elara replied without even looking away from the drama.
She kept her eyes glued to the scene.
“It had to be Jillian from your dorm. Nobody else had a motive p>
“I didn’t do it!” Piper suddenly shrieked. “That bitch Jillian is framing me! I never went after another guy p>
“Oh, you didn’t?” Wyatt laughed coldly. “Then why were you brawling in your dorm room yesterday?

Wyatt glared at Piper with absolute disgust.
“I’m sorry,” Piper finally whispered, her head dropping in defeat.
She couldn’t deny it any longer.
Wyatt had deliberately chosen the lunch rush, when the cafeteria was packed, to publicly expose her cheating. Faced with hard evidence, Piper had no choice but to confess.
“That is so messed up. She wanted to lock down a richer guy while keeping her current boyfriend on the hook?” a bystander muttered loudly.
“She probably just wanted a safety net in case things didn’t work out with the new guy p>

The vicious whispers tore through the crowd, making Piper feel like an animal on display at the zoo.
Her face was burning with humiliation. She wanted nothing more than for the floor to open up and swallow her whole.
She just wanted to end this nightmare and run away as fast as she could.
But Wyatt wasn’t finished with her yet.
“Since you admit you’re in the wrong, you can go ahead and pay back the fifty thousand dollars you blew through on my dime,” he demanded.

She had definitely spent his money, but they were dating! Wasn’t it totally normal for a guy to spoil his girlfriend? What kind of man demanded all his money back after a breakup?
“What? Are you trying to weasel your way out of it?” Wyatt pressed relentlessly.
He refused to let her off the hook.
He came from money. Fifty thousand dollars was nothing to him.

After the chaotic events of the past two days, she knew her chances with that wealthy junior were completely ruined.
