The next morning, I woke up in my apartment still in yesterday’s clothes, everything intact.

As we talked, it hit me that it had been a month since I was reborn, and I hadn’t had my period yet. It felt like something was filling up inside me. From my past life, I knew I was supposed to get pregnant. I would have someone related by blood, no longer alone.
