Watching them eagerly sign, Helen collected the documents. “The papers are in triplicate. Once everyone’s signed, you can review last month’s detailed income and expenses p>
They all anticipated a two-million-dollar dividend, signing in a frenzy.
Once all signatures were in, Helen glanced at me, suppressing a grin, and distributed last month’s financial statement to everyone.
They wet their fingers to flip through the pages, and when they reached the last page and saw the two-dollar profit, they erupted.
