Rain and Alexander were up early, watching the sun rise over the ocean view. She sipped her hot chocolate, while Alexander enjoyed his coffee.
“Hmm, is this the first time I’ve seen you drinking chocolate? Or were you doing it before I lost my memory?” he asked.

Excitedly, she added, “We can still swim since it’s a hot beach. It’s ideal p>
“Alright, let’s finish our drinks. How about a walk before we get soaked?” Alexander suggested.
Rain nodded, and after finishing their drinks, they continued chatting about the future.
“I still can’t believe I’m married now,” Alexander said with a wide smile, his gaze fixed on the serene waves. “But it feels right. I think this is the ideal age for me to settle down. I can picture having a big family p>
“How many kids do you want?” Rain asked, even though she already knew his answer from a previous conversation.
“A team!” he joked. “A minimum of five should do.” He turned to her with an amused smile.
“Hmm, let’s see how many I can give you,” she replied with a playful squint. “But if I don’t meet the quota, don’t you dare think about making babies with another woman p>
Alexander laughed and quickly defended himself. “No way! It’s only you. I can’t even imagine looking at another woman. As long as it’s with you, Rain, I’ll be happy no matter how many we have p>
“Good. Or else, I’ll kill you,” she teased, her expression serious. “You’d be dead meat p>
Alexander gulped dramatically, then pulled her close, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. “Understood, my wife p>
“So, do you prefer a boy or a girl first?” Rain asked.
“It doesn’t matter, as long as our baby is healthy,” he said, wrapping his arm possessively around her shoulders as she rested her head against him.
After some time, the two of them changed into their swimwear and started walking along the beach. Rain began to playfully splash water at Alexander, and soon the two were splashing each other like kids.
Alexander moved closer, scooped her up into his arms, and started walking toward the water.
“Put me down! Are you going to drown me?” she said, chuckling.
“Hmm, can you swim?” he asked with a grin.
“Of course! I’m practically a jack of all trades!” she replied proudly.
“That’s unfortunate,” he said with a mock pout. “It would’ve been nice if you couldn’t. Then I’d go deeper, and you’d cling to me more p>
He finally set her down once the water reached her chest.
Rain wrapped her arms around him and teased, “Just say the word, and I’ll gladly oblige! I’ll cling to you like this and see how you manage to enjoy the water p>
“Oh, this is more enjoyable than you think,” Alexander said with a mischievous smile.
Suddenly, he scooped her up again. Instinctively, she wrapped her legs around his waist while he held her securely in his arms. Then, without warning, he leaned in and began kissing her deeply. The world around them fading into the background. The cool water swirled around them, but all she felt was his warmth and the steady beat of his heart against hers.
When they finally broke apart, both were breathless but smiling.
