Gaston’s eyes went dead. He took a step forward, fully intending to order his men to break Kieran’s legs.
Jocelyn reached out and placed a gentle hand on Gaston’s forearm. She shook her head.
There was no anger in her eyes — only a terrifying, absolute void of emotion.
She walked slowly toward the car where Kieran was pinned and looked down at him as though he were a stain on the pavement.
