Her breath caught.
Elouise Stein stood in the center of the pristine marble lobby, looking completely unhinged. Her expensive designer suit was wrinkled and stained, her hair wild and unkempt. She was screaming at the front desk staff and waving her arms aggressively. Several guests had stopped walking and were staring. Two had already pulled out their phones to record.
Jocelyn’s jaw locked. If that footage reached the internet, the hotel’s reputation would take a serious hit.
She snapped her laptop shut, collected two senior security guards from the hallway, and took the private elevator straight down to the lobby.
The moment the doors opened, Elouise spotted her.
