The message told her to take good care of Zora and never teach her any silly nonsense.
She couldn’t help feeling delighted. Anyone who was this generous and always sent her cash was absolutely amazing in her eyes.
“Hmm?” Zora looked confused, able to tell that Hallie was over the moon with joy.

Zora nodded in agreement.
The two girls headed back to the Sloan residence, where they stayed all alone.
Elara and Jeremy had gone abroad for a vacation a few days earlier and wouldn’t be back until the next day.
After tidying up their stuff at home, Hallie planned to get her hair done and enjoy a full-body massage in the afternoon, which would take quite a while.
Meanwhile, Zora needed to hand over the medicine to someone she had arranged to meet, and this was the perfect chance to do it.
“I’m gonna walk around nearby. Give me a call once you finish your appointments,” Zora said softly.
“Sure thing, call me anytime you need anything.” Hallie gently stroked her hair.
She had wanted Zora to get beauty treatments too, but she never forced her since Zora disliked those things.
“Got it.” Zora grabbed her small handbag and headed out.
She had already fixed a meeting time and place with the person who would pick up medicine via text messages. Following the navigation address they sent her, she made her way toward Lumina Café.

Zora peeked past the screen and spotted a figure sitting in a wheelchair.
“Please take a seat, Ms. H.” Killian guided her to sit down.
Hearing their conversation, the elderly man slowly maneuvered his electric wheelchair out from behind the screen.
