An endless wave of fear washed over Brandon, and his eyes were filled with terror as he looked at Serena.

He was sent flying backward, crashing hard against the wall and into an ornate mirror.

A bloodcurdling scream tore from Brandon’s throat.
He curled into a ball, the pain so intense it felt like several of his ribs had just snapped.
With a crash, the mirror shattered, and shards of glass rained down on Brandon.
He screamed in agony, unable to even crawl away.
Every movement sent slivers of glass digging into his hands.
Lauren was scared out of her wits by the sudden turn of events.
She was so terrified she couldn’t even scream.
Flailing her arms and legs, she scrambled on the floor, trying to squirm her way toward the doorway.
Serena didn’t even glance at her.
She casually picked up a heavy jewelry box from the vanity and threw it with precision.
The box slammed down hard on the back of Lauren’s hand.
Lauren cried out in pain and collapsed onto the floor.
The entire incident unfolded in just a minute or two.
Brianna stared blankly at Serena, looking as if she were completely stunned.
It wasn’t until Serena walked over and placed a hand on her head.
Brianna’s tense nerves finally gave way, and she relaxed completely.
Tears streamed down her face once more.

She sobbed out the name that brought her such immense comfort.
Stumbling forward, she threw herself into Serena’s arms, hugging her tightly. Her entire body was still trembling slightly.

Serena was incredibly patient, gently patting Brianna’s back with one hand while pulling out her phone with the other to make a call.

Patton’s respectful voice came from the other end. “Miss Lancaster p>
“Patton, dressing room. Bring security to clean up the trash,” Serena said, her voice flat and cold.
Patton’s tone immediately grew tense. “Yes, Miss Lancaster. Right away p>
The call ended.
Serena gently patted Brianna’s back and said softly, “Don’t worry. Leave the rest to Mr. Blackwood to handle.
I’m sure that with his methods. you’ll never have to see this man again for the rest of your life p>
