Douglas flatly refused. “We can’t leave the sanatorium completely unattended. Serena already agreed to have dinner with me. So, Silas, you should stay here and look after Mom and Dad p>

“That’s exactly why! She only accepts me. She’d lose her appetite if she had to look at you!” Douglas didn’t back down an inch.
Silas shoved him slightly. “Douglas, you need to understand that a harmonious family brings prosperity. You stay and watch our parents. Let me go, for the sake of our family’s peace, and bond with Serena p>
Douglas immediately blocked him. “Silas, you already know you’re not her favorite, yet you keep forcing yourself on her? Besides, I already made the plans. You stay and watch our parents p>

Neither brother was willing to yield.
Holden and Kiera watched their two grown sons looking like they were about to throw punches over a dinner date with their granddaughter.
They couldn’t help but laugh.
Their sons had always been mature beyond their years, each more exceptional than the last.
It had been a very long time since they had seen them act this childishly.
Serena truly was a treasure.
Kiera couldn’t hold back anymore.
“This is a premium sanatorium. We
have dedicated staff to handle anything we need. What exactly do you think e looking after?
Neither of you has eaten dinger yet. Both

The two brothers glanced at each other.

Kiera laughed, waving them off. “Go on, go on. There’s nothing for you to do here anyway p>
It was indeed the best solution.
Now neither had to fight.
Before leaving, they arranged everything meticulously.

While Serena was having dinner with her two uncles, Isabella’s limits were reached.

The camera feed had been cut, so none of the maids noticed right away.

night, when a maid went to bring her a late night snack just to make sure she didn’t actually starve to death, that she was found unconscious.
The maid panicked and immediately made a call.
The two uncles were busy enjoying dinner with Serena, so naturally, they didn’t
answer.
The call was redirected to the sanatorium.
Though thoroughly disappointed in her foster granddaughter, hearing that she had fainted made Kiera siga “Never mind, send her to the hospital to get checked out first. Once she’s recovered a bit, send her straight back to Elyndor p>

The maid wanted to ask, but Kiera had already hung up.
“Send Miss Isabella to the sanatorium where Mr. and Mrs. Vinton are staying,” an Elyndorian maid suddenly walked over and instructed firmly.
