Isabella was just as stunned. How could she possibly answer Karen’s question?
Her eyes were red with jealousy, her face twisted in a way that shattered her carefully maintained socialite mask.
Having minored in medicine, she understood far better than Karen the weight those two words-Ghost Doctor-carried.
Her family had gone to great lengths to find the Ghost Doctor back when they were trying to treat her grandfather’s legs.
After examining her grandfather’s legs, Master Langford, the president of the Traditional Medicine Association, had said that in all of Elyndor, and perhaps the world, there was only one person who could heal them.

Suddenly, an icy gaze swept over them.
Hank, now looking healthy with a
rosy complexion, had stood up at some point. He was adjusting the Bow tie at his collar with one hand w while narrowing his eyes, looking coldly at Karen and Isabella, who were still muttering in shock.
Twice he had been on the verge of death, and twice Serena had snatched him back from its clutches.
Now, all Hank felt for his savior was immense gratitude and profound awe.
Although he had been convulsing on the floor, unable to move, he had been conscious the entire time.
He had heard every single word of how Karen and Isabella had doubted Serena, every single one of their snide remarks.
How could Hank possibly tolerate someone questioning his savior?
Hank stepped forward. His voice was not loud and was still slightly hoarse.
But the commanding presence of a man in power was more than enough to intimidate two sheltered young women.
Even the arrogant and domineering Karen shrank back, not daring to make a sound.
Hank took out his phone and made call, his voice cold as he issued a command: “Notify all my syndicates in Elyndor. Effective immediately, terminate all joint projects with the second branch of the Blackwood family. Furthermore, any family whose members spoke out of turn. or showed any disrespect to the Ghost Doctor is to be permanently blacklisted from any future cooperation p>
