The crowd surrounded Isabella and Bianca, their faces full of pleading.
These two had originally never seen eye to eye.

“Don’t panic, everyone. Spots are limited, so Bianca and I will have to screen you carefully. After all, we need to be responsible for the school’s reputation,” Isabella smiled gently, but her eyes were brimming with smug satisfaction.
Bianca slapped a bank card onto the desk, lifting her chin high. “I’ve also established Dreamscape Alpha and Dreamscape Beta. Anyone who joins our Dreamscape teams will receive a fifty thousand dollar startup fund upfront! And all the equipment provided will be high-end gear phased out from the Doyle family labs p>
“Labs, equipment, materials—we have it all p>
Fifty thousand dollars.
For every single person.
That meant every team would have a starting budget of at least a hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
So what if Dreamscape Alpha and Dreamscape Beta sounded like benchwarmer squads?
As long as the participants were officially registered under their own names, the glory and credentials would belong to them.

Bianca intentionally created these two extra teams purely to disgust Serena, aiming
to monopolize the entire class and leave Serena completely isolated.
Even though Serena had stated from the very beginning that she had no intention of competing.
