Her chest squeezed tight. Panic clawed at her ribs. She hurried to dial Gemma, the housekeeper who was supposed to care for her grandmother.

When she reached Sunrise Residence, Zacharias was already at the gate, waiting.
She stepped out of the car, her steps quick and sharp. She lifted her hand to slap him across the face.
But his palm shot up, catching her wrist. His smile curved with ease.
