She clawed at her gown, wiping her hands against the fabric, only to smear something sticky and brown across her palm.
Horrified, she raised it to her nose, and realization struck instantly.
Her expression twisted with revulsion, but she tried to defend herself. “It’s not what you think! It’s chocolate, not… Smell it if you don’t believe me p>
She thrust her hand toward the nearest bystanders, but they recoiled with disgust, covering their noses as though she were contagious.

“Enough! This is absurd!” Derek stormed over, his expression thunderous. He turned to Timothy with unconcealed contempt.
