walk away.
Jessica still did not want to answer. Anneliese did not want to affect her choice, so she pulled out her own phone to check it.
The moment she took it out, her phone also started ringing.
The sudden sound made her jump.

When his plane landed in Halden, he sent Anneliese a WhatsApp message to check in. The chat stayed unread. There was still no reply. He stood up and walked to the window as he tried to call her.
No one picked up. He did not know if she had fallen asleep or was with Nishay and did not see it.
That uneasy feeling in his chest continued to grow. It even made him a little restless.
