title = Messing With Her? Are You Crazy! Chapter N
“Fine. I hate this, but since those are the rules, we play the hand we’re dealt p>
Each of them let out a perfectly timed, heavy sigh.
Julian interrupted the theatrics with a gentle tone. “Alright. Finish your food. We roll out at midnight p>
“We stick to the revised plan. Serena boards, we provide perimeter support p>
The others nodded with grim determination.
In reality, every single one of them was thinking the exact same thing… now that the group plan was dead, all they had to do was ensure Serena never made it to the docks.
Then, their individual plans could unfold flawlessly.
Sitting beside them, Catherine’s heart was racing with terror.
But she knew a simple “you can’t go” from her wouldn’t stop the inevitable.
With tear-filled eyes, she placed another piece of fish on Serena’s plate. “Just eat. Whatever happens, make sure you have a good meal tonight p>
Serena looked at her, the icy resolve in her eyes melting into something softer. “I will p>
The rest of the meal passed in silence, save for everyone unanimously piling food onto Serena’s plate and refilling her soup.
All their attention was fixated squarely on her.
Serena was simply too calm.
So calm that a lingering paranoia crept into their minds, wondering if she had somehow seen through their entire charade.
After dinner, everyone retreated to their respective rooms to ‘rest p>
Of course, nobody had any intention of sleeping.
With departure set for 2:00 AM, they had a few hours to finalize their ‘arrangements p>
Catherine walked Serena to her door, her eyes red. “Try to get some sleep, sweetheart. I’ll see you off before you leave p>
Serena murmured an agreement, spending a few moments comforting Catherine before finally sending her away.
The bedroom door clicked shut.
Serena walked over to her desk and booted up her laptop.
The pale glow of the screen illuminated her face, making her breathtaking features look even more remote and untouchable.
2:00 AM.
She would use The Panacea’s credentials to board from the medical supply docking point.
She needed to finalize her disguise to ensure The Black Sun’s operatives wouldn’t recognize her.
As for her brothers… and Nicholas.
She had already laced their rooms with a custom-made sleep-inducing incense.
The moment they stepped inside to ‘rest’, they would be out cold until tomorrow morning.
And by tomorrow morning, the dust would already be settled.
Just as she was finalizing her thoughts, a soft knock echoed against her door.
“Come in,” Serena called out.
Julian stepped inside, dressed in

Serena looked down at the tea. The liquid was clear, the aroma exceedingly faint. It
was undeniably a premium brew.
There was absolutely nothing suspicious about it.
At least, to an ordinary person or even a top-tier toxicologist—it would appear entirely harmless.
But Serena was the Ghost Doctor.
One glance, one breath, and she immediately knew the tea was spiked.
Colorless. Odorless.
Completely harmless to the body.
It was designed to drop the drinker into a deep, unshakable slumber exactly two
hours after consumption.
The sedative was incredibly clean.
And incredibly rare.
This wasn’t something a typical businessman could casually get his hands on.
A flicker of deep amusement flashed through Serena’s eyes.
But when she looked up, her face betrayed absolutely no emotion. “You brewed this yourself p>

Serena felt a soft, unexpected warmth bloom in her chest.
She didn’t call him out. Instead, a genuine smile curved her lips. “Then I definitely

She raised the cup to her lips.
And drank it, sip by sip, down to the very last drop.
