Since the man insisted it had been an accident, Annabel decided to take advantage of that and play along. If she handled this the right way, she might be able to draw out whoever was truly pulling the strings.
Annabel smiled as she set her script on the table. “Then I won’t press charges, since you’re saying it was an accident. However, you need to be more careful from now on and make sure nothing like this happens again, alright p>
The man looked genuinely stunned. He clearly hadn’t expected forgiveness so easily.
He glanced at Rory, then turned back to Annabel and let out a relieved breath. “Thank you very much, Miss Hewitt. I’ll return to work now p>
“Alright,” Annabel said with a small nod.
The man left the room.
Rory and Sutton, however, stayed behind.
“Is there anything else you need?” Annabel asked, not looking at them directly, but at their reflections in the mirror instead.
“I’d like to talk to you about the scene we’ll be shooting later,” Rory said as he walked over and sat down beside Annabel.
Annabel had already read the script, so she knew exactly which scene he meant. In one of their shared parts, there was a kissing scene they had to act out.
The scene they were filming that day took place in the forest near the palace. The king, played by Rory, confessed his love to Lydia, played by Annabel.
But Lydia was in love with someone else. She had no feelings for the king, so she rejected him.
Enraged, the king kissed her by force.

Rory delivered the line with intense dominance. Frustration flickered across his face as he looked at her. Then he grabbed Annabel and pulled her into a tight embrace, unfazed by the way she struggled against him.
It was a display of control, and he had to use force. Lydia—Annabel’s character—was naturally delicate, no match for his strength.
No matter how hard she fought, it was pointless. Rory leaned in and kissed her, forceful and uncompromising.
Their kiss looked intense, growing more heated with each passing second.
Not far from the set, Rupert stood watching with narrowed eyes. His features were drawn tight with irritation, and rage smoldered in his chest as a chilling, oppressive aura radiated from him.
He knew Rory and Annabel weren’t truly kissing. The shot was staged to make it look real through blocking and camera angles. Yet even with that knowledge, he couldn’t stand the sight of Rory holding Annabel so intimately.
