As if she’d just found a savior, Anika grabbed Jared’s wrist and turned to Annabel desperately, about to speak.
“Annabel, please help me persuade Jared,” Anika pleaded. “He said he won’t go back to Douburgh with us, and he doesn’t care about getting his leg treated p>
