Margo looked up sharply and saw Joziah waiting at the bottom of the stairs. He walked toward her with a bouquet of lilies, as if he didn’t care that he’d been kicked out of the hospital the last time.
“I knew you’d be discharged today, so I came to escort you home,” Joziah said, stepping closer. “How are you? Feeling better? Come on, I’ll drive you home p>
As he spoke, he reached out to take Margo’s hand. Margo’s body went rigid. She immediately grabbed Rory’s sleeve, clearly asking for help.

The two men grappled and fought fiercely.

The commotion quickly drew the attention of passersby. Joziah was relatively unknown, but everyone recognized Rory. After all, Rory was a famous movie star, and it didn’t take long for people to start whispering.
