His threat made both Jessica and Anneliese stiffen.
“You jerk! You’re so shameless!” Jessica snapped, her face turning a little pale.
Anneliese stepped up to shield her, shooting Zacharias an icy look. “Zacharias, please don’t give me a reason to hate you p>
When Zacharias saw the hatred and disgust in Anneliese’s eyes, he clenched the divorce papers even tighter. He tried to soften his expression, looking almost resigned.
“Can’t we just have one last meal together p>
“And you think threatening us is the way to do it p>
“Of course not. You’ve got the wrong idea p>
“If that’s the case, then there’s no point.” Anneliese made her stance clear, tugging Jessica along as she prepared to leave.
However, Zacharias wasn’t willing to let her go. He grabbed her arm. “Anne, do you really have nothing left to say to me p>
“Actually, I do.” A flicker of hope appeared in Zacharias‘ eyes, but Anneliese shot it down quick. “About the 500 million from the divorce settlement, make sure you transfer it to my account soon. Otherwise, I’ll just go ahead and get a court order p>
Zacharias was left speechless.
She yanked her arm free and walked off, never looking back.

When Anneliese saw the bright, colorful bouquet, her eyes lit up with genuine happiness.
“Mr. Fullbuster really knows how to make a girl feel special. I totally forgot to bring flowers!” Jessica chimed in.
“I love them. Please thank Mr. Fullbuster for me,” Anneliese said while accepting the bouquet from Zion.
Zion smiled. “He wanted to give them to you himself, but he had a big meeting today. He wrote the card by hand, though p>
Anneliese pulled out the card.
Jonathan’s handwriting on the card flowed with style and confidence — just right for his bright wishes about freedom and sunshine.
Her lips had just curled into a smile when a hand suddenly shot out from over her shoulder and snatched the card away.

Annoyed, Anneliese spun around and tried to grab it back.
However, Zacharias was faster, tearing the card into pieces and crumpling it up.
She glared at him. “Zacharias, you’re petty, ridiculous, and twisted with jealousy. It’s honestly pathetic p>

Just then, a familiar, sharp voice cut in from behind.
Anneliese turned and saw Melody and Lenora coming quickly toward them. Coral trailed closely behind them, her eyes fixed hungrily on the divorce papers in Zacharias‘ hand.
Anneliese had no interest in making a scene with Melody outside the City Hall, so she grabbed Jessica and tried to make a quick exit.

Back when Melody had come with Anneliese to file for divorce, Anneliese had threatened to leak a racy video of Zacharias and Coral.
Melody had demanded she delete it on the spot, but Anneliese said she’d do it once the divorce was finalized.
