No man could tolerate being used like that, especially someone like Jonathan, who stood at the top, looking down on everyone else.

At Astoria University, one of Anneliese’s solar drones had gone off course and disappeared. While she was tracking its route, a WhatsApp notification popped up from Jonathan.
It was an audio message. She tapped play instinctively, only to hear the familiar, grating voice of Selina.
