“And the procedure you proposed would damage not only Abba’s body, but the donor’s as well. They are not spare parts to be carved apart and exchanged like broken tools p>
Abba visibly trembled at the thought.
But Seraphina’s face only darkened further.
“You’re speaking nonsense because you don’t understand modern procedure,” she snapped. “If you disagree so badly, then leave and find your own patients to treat p>
“Seraphina.” Lylah’s patience finally thinned. “We are supposed to work as a team p>
“And I am the one leading this team.” Seraphina’s voice rose sharply, carrying the instinctive dominance of

“She entrusted it to both of us.” Lylah stepped forward.

“First,” Seraphina declared, “you will apologize to me before the entire volunteer unit. You will admit that your ignorance and foolishness interfered with this mission before withdrawing from the team p>

“Second, for three days, you will serve as my personal assistant p>
“And third,” Seraphina’s gaze sharpened triumphantly. “You will leave this project entirely and return to Lunaris p>
