“There is no better place than home,” Vargan declared confidently. “Ezra has spent too much time in Lunaris. He seems to have forgotten that the two of you are the Alpha and Luna of Moonclaw. The estate is quiet. Peaceful. Far away from unnecessary interruptions. Perfect for the two of you to spend time together and enjoy being mates p>
His gaze swept around the room.
“As for the rest of us, we’ll stay here. Let them have some privacy p>
No one objected.
The suggestion was met with immediate approval.
Tiara nodded enthusiastically. Damon looked relieved. Even Juniper seemed pleased by the
arrangement.
Lylah found herself agreeing as well.
The more she thought about it, the more it felt right.
“I’ll drive you there tonight, Luna,” Damon offered. “I’ll let Alpha know where you are and tell him you’re waiting for him p>
Lylah smiled softly. “Thank you p>
She silently promised herself that she would apologize properly once she saw Ezra.
This time, she would make it right.
The next hour passed in a blur as everyone helped prepare for her departure. Bags were packed. Instructions were exchanged. Tiara hovered nearby with suspicious enthusiasm.
Just before Lylah stepped into the waiting vehicle, Tiara suddenly rushed forward carrying a neatly wrapped box tied with a bright red ribbon.

Though still confused, Lylah accepted the gift and thanked her friend.
Moments later, the car pulled away from the city.
The glittering lights of Lunaris gradually disappeared behind them as they traveled deeper into Moonclaw territory.
Night had fully fallen by the time Ezra emerged from the treatment center. The temporary medicine flowing through his veins had done its job. The crushing headache had retreated.
His vision had steadied.
Most importantly, his wolf had finally fallen silent.
As he stepped toward the waiting vehicle, his phone vibrated.
A message from Damon.
‘Luna Lylah is waiting for you at Moonclaw Estate.
Ezra’s eyes narrowed.
At Moonclaw Estate?
A dozen questions immediately surfaced.
“Drive to the estate,” he instructed Zyrelle without hesitation.
The vehicle accelerated through the night while Ezra’s thoughts raced ahead.
Why would Lylah suddenly go there?
Had his family suggested it?
Had Vargan pressured her?

Without slowing his pace, Ezra headed directly toward their private wing.
Moonlight spilled through towering windows, silvering the ancient stone corridors. The estate felt different tonight.
He reached their bedroom door.
“Lylah.” The sound of her name left his lips almost unconsciously.
No answer came.
Frowning slightly, Ezra pushed the door open.
Then he stopped.
Under the warm golden light, Lylah stole the breath from his lungs.
The windows stood open behind her, moonlight and mountain winds spilling into the room. Wrapped in ivory lace as delicate as freshly fallen snow, she looked almost unreal-fragile, beautiful, and entirely his.
