“Wow.” Tiara slowed as they reached the waterfall camp nestled deep within Silverpine territory, a small pack along the northern Lunaris.
The place looked completely different from the one she and Lylah had seen in the advertisement just the day before.
“There are so many more visitors here now. So different than what Lylah and I thought.” Tiara murmured, glancing around in surprise.
“It’s almost holiday season.” Damon’s gaze swept across the crowd. His wolf had been alert since the moment they arrived.
“Shouldn’t Alpha Ezra have more guards with him then? Not for us. For him and Lylah.” Tiara continued, lowering her voice. She looked toward the private cabins further uphill. “If they realize Moonclaw’s Alpha and Luna are staying here, this place will descend into complete chaos p>

Before she could ask what he meant, Damon continued.
“Me.” A smug glint appeared in his eyes. “And Alpha Ezra. We’re guarding our respective ladies tonight and for the rest of this trip. We don’t need anyone else p>
Tiara stared at him. His family wasn’t there, so there was no one to impress. No reason to keep pretending. And yet he still said things like that so naturally.

A few minutes later, they emerged wearing casual clothes suitable for the evening activities.
The moment Tiara stepped outside, excitement radiated from her.
“I want to swim.” She pointed toward the waterfall pool. “And then maybe explore the trails p>

A pair of wolves rushed into the water. One of them bumped directly into Tiara while trying to squeeze past.
The force sent her stumbling sideways.
Her body struck the rocky edge of the pool.

Her temper flared just as fast as her wolf’s.
