Herman thought for a moment, then finally told her the truth. He explained that he had met Heather after leaving Star Entertainment the other day, and that Heather had later offered him an idea. As Annabel listened, her expression grew darker.
Heather really was stubborn.
“She took you for a fool,” Annabel said, her voice steady. “That woman loves Rupert and wants him at any cost. That’s why she hates me to the core. Even if you ran into her by coincidence…” Annabel looked at the glass of water, then gave a cold smile. “This water is definitely not a coincidence p>
Herman clearly had no idea about the history between Annabel and Heather, so Annabel explained it to him.
