She had promised Dunn she would go out with him. Even though the party had only just begun, Margo had already downed a few glasses of wine. When her agent tried to stop her, Margo blinked mischievously, pretended to feel unwell, and sat off to the side.
The agent immediately went to support her. Apologizing to everyone present, she said, “I’m sorry. Margo can’t handle alcohol well. She might be a little tipsy. I’ll take her back to rest p>
Fortunately, the director and producer were understanding. Seeing the situation, they allowed the agent to take Margo back, and the agent quickly guided her out of the private room.

The agent understood at once. She snorted and glanced at her watch. “Go on your date. Just don’t stay out too late. You have work tomorrow p>
“Okay,” Margo replied, turning around with a bright smile as she walked away.
The agent couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. Still, she didn’t dwell on it and headed back to the hotel to get some rest.
Meanwhile, Margo had already tipped Dunn off about the location of the wrap-up party. Waiting in the parking lot, Dunn spotted her the moment she stepped out and started walking toward him.
Just as he was about to go to her, Margo saw him and ran straight into his arms without hesitation, leaving Dunn momentarily stunned. He lifted a hand and lightly touched her head.
“Where are we going?” Margo asked as she looked up at him, her cheeks flushed red.

Margo fluttered her eyes and answered vaguely, “So I could come out to see you earlier p>
Her voice was soft and flirtatious.
“I pretended to be drunk,” she added, “but I had to drink a little too p>
Dunn’s brows drew together. Margo’s agent had mentioned she couldn’t handle alcohol well. And since she had left so early, she had probably been drinking on an empty stomach.
Worried about her, Dunn considered taking her back to sober up, but Margo shook her head.
“I want to get food from a street stall. The food at the wrap-up party isn’t tasty p>
Dunn nodded. He planned to buy her some hangover pills, but Margo refused.
“I’m not drunk. I’m perfectly sober. It was just a few glasses of wine p>
Even so, Dunn didn’t believe her. He drove straight to his villa.
As he suspected, Margo’s condition worsened along the way. She slumped in the passenger seat, dazed, humming softly to herself.
