When he first found out she’d gone into the entertainment business, he was genuinely surprised. He’d always figured she’d become a doctor.

After a moment, she let go and said, “This really isn’t a big problem. With herbal baths and acupuncture, you’ll make a full recovery in just three months p>
Last time around, she’d healed his legs too, but since they’d delayed treatment for a few years, it ended up taking about a year for him to recover.
She’d been learning medicine from her grandpa and crafting herbal stuff with her mom since she was a kid, and she had a knack for both.
She was always a top student, even skipped a grade and got into Solmare Medical College.
But she just couldn’t sit still, so working as a doctor in a clinic specializing in traditional medicine wasn’t really her thing.
She happened to be interested in the entertainment industry, so she switched careers.
But even after she got into the entertainment business in her last life, she never gave up on studying medicine.
After she quit the industry on her own terms, she devoted herself entirely to traditional medicine and became an expert in the unique acupuncture method her grandpa’s family had handed down for generations.
She even pieced together the lost sections of an ancient book of secret remedies.
Later, she built up her connections by treating people and teamed up with Jason. Together, they went up against the Hammonds, Delaneys, and Moores, stirring up trouble wherever they could.
Jason arched his brows. “Seriously? You think this isn’t a big deal? ”
After the accident left him unable to walk, he’d tried everything. He visited the best hospitals, both in the country and
overseas.
They all said the same thing: there was no hope. He’d be in a wheelchair for life.
And now, Alicia actually said it was no big deal.

His legs were already like this. Letting her try couldn’t possibly make things worse.
Even if there was just a one in a thousand chance of getting better, he wasn’t about to give up.
He still had so much he wanted to do, and being stuck in a wheelchair was really holding him back.

Then he pulled out his phone. “Let’s swap contacts. I’ll send you my address p>
Alicia took out her phone and exchanged info with him.

He was dead set on making Alicia a superstar and crushing everyone who ever tried to mess with her.
Surprise flickered across Alicia’s face.
Then she grinned, “Wow, the CEO himself as my agent? Guess I really hit the jackpot p>
She added confidently, “Trust me. I’ll get you back on your feet for sure p>
With Jason’s power and all the resources at Lucent Media, having him take her under his wing personally would make things way easier for her.
Of course, she wasn’t about to turn that down.
They talked over what each of them planned to do next, and only then did Alicia get up and head out.
Two days later, Thomas took the fight straight to Starlight Entertainment, armed with all the evidence he needed to get Alicia out of her contract.
Thomas was a legend in the legal scene, especially when it came to contract battles. He’d never lost a single case.
With Alicia’s intel and the proof he’d gathered, Starlight tried to hold on, but there was nothing they could do to stop it.
Even the penalty for breaking the contract early got chopped down to just a third of what it was supposed to be.
Nicolas’s agent, Liam Hall, had been keeping a close eye on Alicia’s situation, so he caught wind of the news immediately.
With things getting this serious, he didn’t dare hide it or stall this time. He picked up the phone and called Nicolas without hesitation.
