Victor didn’t beat around the bush. “That miracle doctor. I’ve noticed he really looks out for you, and he seems pretty protective.
“Why don’t you try asking him for help?”

If he did, Nicole would still be his fiancée.
But if he didn’t, Victor would just have to let her go.
Nicole was completely lost, but hearing Victor’s words was like clutching at straws. “Okay, I’ll go ask him for help.”
That miracle doctor knew all sorts of powerful people-even her stepdad and fiancé were hoping he’d pull some strings for them.
If he was willing to help out, there was a good shot her stepdad might actually reconsider.
So Nicole reached out to the miracle doctor.
She’d been getting pretty close to him lately, so she could just call him directly.
The miracle doctor picked up right away.
After hearing Nicole’s plea, he paused for a moment before saying, “Let’s meet up. It’s not something we can really talk about over the phone.”
Nicole let out a sigh of relief. “Can I bring my mom with me?”
There was a brief pause on the other end before he replied, “Alright.”
Nicole hung up and drove straight to the spot they’d agreed on.
Alicia was poring over the test results from the miracle doctor’s blood.
When she saw the blood type pop up, she was taken aback-it was totally unexpected.
It was exactly the same as hers.
Her imagination started running wild, all sorts of possibilities swirling in her mind.
She remembered the info her mentor had helped her look into.
