It was Lucent Media who suggested it and made it all happen.
Honestly, this new setup was way more hype than anything they’d planned before.
Originally, their plan for the first episode was to bring the guests to a poor village and have them help the locals sell their homegrown goods.
But that kind of thing had already been done on plenty of other reality shows, so it wasn’t all that exciting or fresh. The real draw would’ve just been how entertaining the guests could make it.
Lucent Media was all about the whole “helping with friends” vibe. It was a fresh twist for reality shows and really caught their eye. But they weren’t impressed with the original plan for the first episode.
The suggestion Lucent Media brought to the table was a breath of fresh air. Having the cast help out idol trainees during the elimination round would send both shows’s ratings through the roof.
Thus, they jumped on Lucent Media’s idea and tweaked the plan to make it even better.
The announcement caught the guests off guard, and the audience was just as surprised.
After all, it was the first time anyone had seen a crossover like this.

But this whole setup was super fresh, and if they played their cards right, they could really steal the spotlight. Thus, nobody was about to complain.

Alicia gave him a comforting look. “No turning back now, but trust me, you’ve got this p>
She knew Darren had a great voice, and back when he acted in a drama, he’d learned to dance for the part. She was sure he’d be just fine.
Alicia hadn’t known about the crossover either.
She knew now Jason had planned this all along. He wanted to help her shake off all the hate about her singing and dancing.
