Nicole and her mother were arrested.
The charges against them weren’t just kidnapping and holding Leo captive, or threatening him to take his assets by force
The Moore family had already submitted evidence that Nicole had plotted against Nicolas.
Alicia had also submitted proof that Nicole hired online trolls to ruin her reputation.
Previously, Mavis had someone target her ex-husband.
Alicia managed to save him and turned in the evidence as well.
So Mavis now faced an additional charge of attempted murder for hire.
The mother and daughter were sent to prison, and they wouldn’t be seeing the outside world anytime soon.
But when the police went to arrest Julian, they found he was gone.
It was as if he had vanished into thin air.
After Alicia reported Julian, the security department had been keeping tabs on him.
They never saw him leave his place, but when the cops broke in, he was nowhere to be found.
Checking the security footage, they didn’t see him leave through the front door either.

He didn’t waste any time. “Ally, Dad’s health is really bad. Can you come over and see if you can help him?”
Alicia replied, “If someone drugged him, let him go ask them for help.
“I told you before, I’ve cut all ties with you. I’m done with the Hammond family. Don’t ask me again.
“Just take him to the hospital.
“The stuff he took is addictive. If nothing else works, he’ll just have to quit cold turkey.
“It’s gonna be rough, but at least it won’t kill him.
“And from now on, don’t ever contact me about your family.”
With that, she hung up.
She wasn’t just talking-she really meant it. She was done with them, for real.
Kevin was suffering now, and it was all thanks to his own trusted partner-she brought this on him.
Alicia had warned him before: Mavis and Nicole were snakes, not the sweet, harmless types they pretended to be. They could bite at any moment.
But Leo didn’t buy it. Instead, he gave her a whole speech about not being so negative and judging people just because she didn’t like them.
Fine, let him deal with the mess himself.
Kevin heard the line go dead.
He looked helplessly at his father lying in the hospital bed. “Dad, Ally’s not coming. She told me you’ll have to quit cold turkey on your own.”

He couldn’t help but throw in some sarcasm. “I’m not your spoiled wife or pampered daughter. Who am I to keep you locked up?”

“Then give me a reason.”
Kevin told him the truth. “The estate in the suburbs was in Mom’s name. She already gave it to Ally as her wedding gift. “Ally went and changed the ownership a couple of days ago.
“She’s banned the Hammond family from the estate. If anyone tries to go there, she’ll have them thrown out.
“She even swapped out all the staff at the place.”
She was clearly making a point to his dad.
Back when the estate wasn’t in her name, she couldn’t do anything about it.
But now that it’s hers, she called the shots.
As Alicia put it herself, she told him not to mess up the place his mom cherished.
Keyin had to admit, she had a point.

She never told him exactly how she planned to divide everything up.
