She’d been laughing at Alicia’s misery when her agent threw her under the bus, and everyone kept roasting her online. She never thought the tables would turn on her this fast.
Now, she was really feeling the burn.
Her agent shrugged, exasperated. “What else can you do? You want to end up in jail?
“The company wants you to delete those posts. Then PR will talk to Starlight Entertainment and see if Alicia will agree to settle privately and drop the charges p>
Alexandra didn’t want to go to jail, so she gritted her teeth. “Fine, I’ll delete them p>
As soon as she deleted her posts, the internet crowd noticed instantly.
The hashtag “AlexandraDeleted HerPosts” shot straight to the top of the trending topics.
She’d never hit the trending list this fast by her own actions before, but now, she wanted nothing more than to disappear from it.

He just couldn’t figure out why his boss would personally receive a celebrity who was basically public enemy number one online.
When Jackson reached out to Alicia, she wasn’t surprised at all. She even requested to meet with his boss, Jason Farrell, herself.
What really blew Jackson’s mind was that his boss actually agreed, even pushing back his video conference just for her. Alicia let Jackson size her up, completely unfazed.
This guy was Jason’s executive assistant, and she’d interacted with him quite a bit in her past life.
She knew that while he came off as a high–powered professional, deep down, he was a total gossip.
When they reached the largest office on the top floor, Jackson knocked on the door.
From inside, a deep, smooth male voice said, “Come in p>
After Alicia walked in, Jackson discreetly excused himself and closed the door.
As soon as she walked in, Alicia saw a man in a wheelchair by the floor–to–ceiling windows.
He wore a plain white shirt and black slacks, his looks strikingly handsome, with a distant vibe.
He looked just in his early twenties, but there was a steady, deep maturity about him that didn’t fit his age. He was hard to figure out.
He glanced at Alicia and motioned for her to sit. “Please, have a seat p>
Alicia nodded and sat down on the sofa across from him.
She looked at him with a meaningful smile. “Hi, long time no see. ”
When Alicia was little, her grandpa used to treat Jason’s grandpa.
Jason wasn’t just from the powerful Farrell family. His father’s late wife was actually Nicolas’s aunt.
Thus, they’d crossed paths before.
Back in their teens, Alicia even got into a fight with Jason over Nicolas, and that left some real bad blood between them.
Once Alicia started high school, Jason left for overseas, and she hadn’t seen him since.
