They found a couple of half-eaten pills left by the nutria rats.
Those pills turned up Julian’s fingerprints.
They even found traces of his blood inside the pills.
On top of that, they’d already uncovered that Julian was the one behind the incident that harmed lan all those years ago.
Julian had also orchestrated several “accidents” using animals, resulting in injuries and even fatalities.
Alicia managed to detox Jett, and he immediately called the police, reporting how Julian had drugged him and attempted to manipulate his mind.
So Julian was facing a long list of charges.
The police issued a wanted notice for him right away.
They also notified the Gibson family, telling them not to shelter Julian if he tried to come back.
The Gibson family was stunned to find out Julian had used his medical skills to break the law and had done so many terrible things.
They assured the security team they wouldn’t protect him.
As a family with a long tradition in medicine, the Gibsons had an ironclad rule: if anyone used their medical knowledge to hurt people or commit crimes, they’d be kicked out of the family, no exceptions.

His eyes were filled with rage as he kept coming at Alicia, reaching out to grab her.
But Alicia had been training for years-she never let Julian get the upper hand, and the two of them traded blows for more than a dozen rounds.
She even launched a flying kick that knocked Julian flat, then swiftly locked him in a chokehold from behind and pinned him down with her leg, keeping him completely immobilized.
Julian fought back hard at first, but soon he started feeling weak and powerless.
His resistance kept fading, getting weaker by the second.
Julian’s face darkened as he snapped, “You’re playing dirty.”
That pill Alicia threw at him was loaded with something-after inhaling the powder, Julian’s whole body went numb and limp.

The powder Julian used was meant to knock Alicia out fast.
And it was an extra-potent version, custom-made just for her.
But this brat didn’t just stay awake-she was still kicking, strong as ever, like nothing could touch her.
Alicia shot him a mocking grin. “Honestly, I should be thanking you for your blood, you know.
“I took a sample from you and whipped up an antidote. Popped it before I showed up,” she said.
Back in her previous life, Julian always lurked in the shadows, so Alicia got caught off guard and paid the ultimate price.
But now that Alicia knew Julian was out there-ruthless, vicious, and skilled with drugs and poisons-there was no way she’d ever let her guard down again.

“Today just happens to be my fifth visit here, so I figured you wouldn’t be able to hold back anymore. That’s why I took the antidote before coming.”
That little habit was exactly the tip-off Alicia got from the Gibson family.
Julian never imagined his own quirks would end up betraying him, giving this brat the perfect opening.
He spat out, “You really are a pain in the ass. I should’ve gotten rid of you a long time ago.”
Almost every one of Julian’s plans had been ruined by this brat.
It was Alicia who blew the lid off Julian’s background and motives, too.
