Jason couldn’t help but be surprised by what Alicia just said.
“So there’s more to this than I thought,” he said, curiosity clear in his voice.
He asked, “Wait, so Nicole is actually Leo’s illegitimate daughter?”
Just hearing all this, Jason figured Mavis and Leo must’ve been seeing each other even before they got married.
Leo went out of his way for Nicole, even letting Mavis and Nicole push his own daughter out of the family.
‘What if Nicole’s not just a stepdaughter, but actually his real kid?’ Jason thought to himself.
Alicia shrugged. “Nope, they really aren’t.
“But isn’t that even more messed up?”

“We really need to track down Mavis’s ex-husband as soon as possible.”

There were no surprises with their team, so they got scheduled to show up
first.

So neither of them dropped out this time.
Soon, the second car pulled up, and Nicolas was the first to step out.
