“And the Hayes family will do the same.”

It was a picture of his wife holding their daughter.

‘She’s my own flesh and blood. Even if I spoil Nicole, would I ever really let my own daughter lose out when it comes to the inheritance?’ he thought.
‘I just want a peaceful family. Why does that have to be so damn hard?
‘Why can’t she just cut her old man some slack?’ he thought, feeling a wave of frustration.
He had to stop thinking about it-every time he did, it just made him feel even more miserable.
