When Alicia returned to the party, Jason walked over to her.
He knew exactly why she was here today. “Are you tired? Want to head back?”
Alicia smiled. “I’m fine. Can you leave now?”
Jason smirked. “I’ve already achieved what I came for.”
‘Knowing Victor, now that he’s seen my leg is fine, there’s no way he’ll be able to sit still, Jason mused.
It wasn’t just a bitter feud; Victor had always been coveting Lucent Media.
Alicia nodded. “Alright, let’s go.”
She knew plenty of people were just waiting to watch the drama unfold tonight.
But neither she nor Jason was about to get into it with anyone at the party.
After all, this was the Campbell family’s event for their eldest son-causing a scene here would just be stealing the host’s thunder, and that would be plain rude.
Alicia linked arms with Jason, gave the Campbell family a quick nod, and they left together.
That left all the drama-hungry guests feeling a bit let down.
Victor and Nicole were disappointed too. They’d been hoping Jason and Alicia would stir up some trouble.

One day, after a shower, Alicia was lounging on her hotel bed, scrolling through her phone.
She saw that Caleb’s new drama was about to start filming, and the moment Nicole was announced as the female lead, she got absolutely dragged online.

Nicolas and Maxwell’s fans blew up Caleb’s X with angry comments, roasting him without
mercy.
Basically, they were saying, “Nicole messed over your two bros, so why are you still casting her as the lead?”

A lot of people were calling Caleb out, saying if he didn’t swap out Nicole as the female lead. they’d absolutely boycott the show.

Just as Alicia finished scrolling through X, Jason called.
He jumped right in with the latest news. “The miracle doctor finally caved and agreed to treat Nicolas.
“He just said he needs to get the medicine ready, so it’ll be a month before he can start the
treatment.”
Alicia said with a sly smile, “Looks like we were right on the money.”
Jason chuckled. “Yeah, he gave in so Nicole wouldn’t end up behind bars.
“And he’s dropped the whole ‘Nicolas has to marry Nicole’ thing.”
Like anyone would believe there’s nothing fishy going on between them.
Alicia smirked. “I saw this coming.”
But knowing Nicolas and his mom, there’s no way they’d let Nicole get away with it.
They’ve definitely got all the evidence backed up. Just because Nicole’s not in jail now doesn’t mean she’s safe for good.
Jason dropped another bombshell. “Nicole’s given up on Nicolas and is now aiming for Jett.
“The miracle doctor wants Jett to marry Nicole.”
Alicia wasn’t surprised. “Looks like Nicole’s not letting her backup escape either.”
Alicia asked, “So, what’s Jett’s take on all this?”
Jason said, “He’s actually up for it, but his parents are totally against the idea.
“They even cut him off and split the assets-Jett only got some cash and a handful of properties.

“The Kingsley family made it clear they’re done with him for good.
“Jett showed up at Nicole’s place with everything he had, telling her she’d be in charge of all his assets once they tied the knot.
“The assets he ended up with are probably about the same as what Nicole has to her name right now.
“But this time, it’s Nicole who’s having second thoughts.
“She used to think Jett was the Kingsley’s favorite, so marrying him meant marrying into a rich family and enjoying the Kingsley family’s backing.
“She probably thought he’d inherit a fortune someday, but she never expected things to turn out like this.
Alicia chuckled. “Jett really pulled off a masterful move.”
Now it’s not Jett refusing to marry-Nicole’s the one backing out this time.
The Kingsley family really does spoil Jett, so this whole move was clearly just to help him ditch Nicole.
Alicia added with a sly grin, “Since Nicole’s so eager to marry into money, there’s actually another great option.”
She’d heard Victor’s engagement had been called off not long ago.
Jason burst out laughing. “You read my mind. That’s exactly what I was thinking.
“I’ve already made arrangements. Pretty soon, you’ll hear about the Farrell family and Hammond family joining forces through marriage.”
Let those two troublemakers stick together-better they make trouble for each other than go out and mess with anyone else.
With the miracle doctor backing her up, Nicole can keep making waves for a while longer.
But when the time comes, she and Victor can end up spending the rest of their lives behind bars together.
“Nicole’s dad has been found, and my people are bringing him to Irisport,” Jason said.
“But his whole storyline is going to have to wait a bit before it plays out.”
