Chapter 225
After Nicolas and Caleb got back to their room, they just crashed on the bed.
Meanwhile, Nicole went to knock on Jett’s door.
Jett let her in Nicole, you’re here.”
He stayed seated and asked. “Want some water? I can get you some.”
Nicole shook her head. “No, thanks.”
She started chatting with Jett, dropping Nicolas’s name a few times.
But Jett didn’t catch on to their plan at all.
Nicole finally leaned in and whispered, “I already slipped the stuff you gave me into Nicolas’s honey water
Jett looked surprised. “Wow, you work fast.”
Then he frowned, looking worried. “Aren’t you still running a fever? Why are you still going through with this?”
Nicole wasn’t about to tell him that with Alicia and Jason both gone today, it was the perfect chance to pull this off
Honestly, she was already done with the rest of the livestream.
Once she had Nicolas, she’d just use her “illness” as an excuse to bow out.
Then she’d go back to her mom and stepdad for backup, and make sure Nicolas had no choice but to get engaged to her
She thought for a moment, her cheeks turning red, and said, “I saw Nicolas drinking, so I figured it was a good chance
Nicole looked at him expectantly. “Jett, you’ll help me, right?”
Jett gave her a meaningful smile. “Of course I’ll help you.”
He added. “Nicole, you’re really smart. Using the drinking as a cover is a great idea.
“If Nicolas ends up with you, just say he took advantage of you while he was drunk.
“That way, you can go to the Moore family and demand they take responsibility.”
Nicole had just made up the excuse on the spot, but after hearing Jett’s words, she realized it actually made sense
She nodded. “You’re right.”
Jett asked, “So, how can I help?”
Nicole said, “Go knock on his door, chat with Nicolas for a bit, and when you leave, don’t close the door all the way.”
Otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to sneak in.
Jett smiled. “No problem. I’ll go now, before he falls asleep.”
Nicole gave him a grateful smile. “Thanks, Jett. I’ll make it up to you.”

jett just shrugged. I like you, Nicole. Helping you with something this small is no big deal.
Nicole said shyly, blushing. Jett, you’re so sweet!”
After they finished talking. Jett headed over to knock on Nicolas’s door
Nicolas got up from the bed and walked to the door, calling out, “Who is it?”
If it was Nicole, he wasn’t about to open up.
Then he heard Jett’s voice. “It’s me.”
Nicolas finally opened the door, looking annoyed. “What do you want?”
ett pulled a keychain out of his pocket. “Is this yours? I found it in the yard earlier.”
Nicolas’s eyes went a little unfocused when he saw the cute panda keychain in Jett’s hand.
He snatched it up and held it tightly in his fist.
This was the keychain Alicia had given him ages ago, and he’d never gone anywhere without it.
Thanks!” Nicolas said.
He was about to close the door on Jett.
But Jett stopped him. “Did you guys pick up some water at the store earlier, besides the booze?
I saw you carrying stuff upstairs.
Mind if I grab a bottle? I’m too lazy to go back down.”
Nicolas didn’t think twice. “Yeah, we did. Come in and grab one.”
ett grabbed a bottle of water, thanked Nicolas, and headed out.
ett glanced at Nicolas, smirking. “You look pretty wasted. No need to walk me out-I’ll close the door myself”
Nicolas just nodded.
He clutched the keychain in his hand and flopped back onto the bed, not even noticing the door hadn’t fully closed.
After Jett left Nicole’s room, he let her know he’d done his part-now it was all up to her
Nicole thanked him again and left his room.
Jett walked over to the window and watched the activity in the yard
When he saw the guy Jason left behind heading over to Marley, a playful smirk tugged at his lips
“Tonight’s show is going to be epic Jett thought to himself
Half an hour later. Nicole went back to the kitchen and made two cups of honey water
She headed to Caleb’s room first and knocked, but no one answered–he must’ve already passed out

Chapter 223
Nicole grabbed a chair, set it by his door, and placed the honey water on top.
Then she shot Caleb a message
She let him know she’d left some honey water to help with his hangover, and told him to grab it when he saw her text
All this was just laying the groundwork for her next move.
After all, she wasn’t bringing honey water to Nicolas alone-Caleb’s door was shut, so she had no way to get in.
