Upon hearing Phillip’s harsh words, Ashton paused for a moment and turned to glance back at the vociferous Phillip. Yet, Ashton chose not to engage. He resumed his walk toward the venue’s entrance. Despite Ashton’s silence, Phillip’s fury only grew. To Phillip, that mere look from Ashton was a taunt and provocation.
Overcome with anger, Phillip swiftly caught up to Ashton and blocked his way, brandishing his invitation with a smirk.
“Listen here, you country bumpkin. Do you really think just anybody is welcome at this charity concert? This event is under the auspices of the Campbell family! Without an invite, no amount of pleading would grant you entry!” Phillip sneered with disdain.
Before Phillip could continue his tirade, he was rendered speechless. Ashton coolly produced an invitation from his pocket and inquired, “Is this what you’re referring to p>
Phillip stood dumbstruck. He had secured his own invitation through considerable effort by pleading with his father. How, then, could Ashton have obtained such a coveted invite?
At that juncture, Tristan arrived and made a crucial observation. “Phillip, take a good look! His invitation doesn’t resemble yours at all p>
Phillip observed the gold trimming on Ashton’s invitation compared to his own, which was merely plain black. Excitedly, Tristan began to yell, “Ashton, fresh off divorcing my sister, and now you’re flaunting your true nature as a charlatan, huh? Trying to gatecrash with a counterfeit invitation? You’ve got audacity p>
He then loudly called over the security staff at the entrance.
“Attention! Over here! We have an impostor attempting to infiltrate with a bogus invitation! This needs to be addressed immediately! If he succeeds, it’ll sully the reputation of the Campbell family p>
Spotting an opportunity to shine, Phillip made a grab for Ashton’s invitation, aiming to rip it to shreds on the spot. The concert manager, busy coordinating the security guards, heard the commotion and dashed out.

Seeing Phillip and Tristan pointing accusatory fingers at Ashton, the manager lost his temper.
“What is going on here? Cease this at once!” he bellowed, charging toward them.
Phillip was perplexed by the manager’s agitation, but he retained his composure and spoke with a smug tone. “This individual attempted to sneak in with a fraudulent invitation, and we apprehended him! As a lawyer, I’m prepared to assist the Campbell family in pressing charges to ensure he deeply regrets this p>
The manager felt a wave of fear wash over him. Rosalie had explicitly instructed him to treat Ashton with the highest regard. Should any harm befall Ashton, it could spell the end of the manager’s career.
After confirming that Ashton was unharmed, the manager turned to Phillip and Tristan with a fierce glare. He rebuked them sharply. “What do you think you’re doing? Yapping like rabid dogs! The invitation Mr. Baldwin holds is authentic, a tailor-made VIP invitation. If you want entry, I suggest you show some decorum and respect toward our distinguished guest p>
He then looked disdainfully at Phillip’s invitation and at the James siblings standing behind him.
“Your invitation is merely a standard one, admitting only one additional guest. What are you attempting by bringing two? Are you trying to flout the Campbell family’s rules p>
Upon hearing the manager’s stern reprimand, Phillip and the James siblings were taken aback. Their formerly arrogant faces lost all traces of smugness.
