Heading into the interview, Carlotta hadn’t held much hope. After all, there weren’t many women in this industry, and she was a recent graduate with slim chances against more experienced competitors. Yet, she not only breezed through the interview, but she had also secured a position as Jeff’s assistant— a possibility she had never even imagined! In that moment, joy overwhelmed her.
Even as she left the interview room, the surreal feeling lingered.
