Julius, unceremoniously shoved aside by Ashton, clumsily regained his footing.
As he bristled to retaliate, his eyes met Fraser’s loaded gaze.
Though Fraser remained silent, his look spoke volumes. With a silent nod, Julius curbed his anger and stepped back.
It was then that Fraser addressed Ashton, his tone laced with urgency. “Mr. Baldwin, I understand your concern, but Selena’s situation is best left to the experts. Imagine explaining to Rosalie why Selena worsened due to our delays. Please, let’s remain calm and step back p>
Although Fraser’s words suggested intervention, his actions contradicted them. He made no move to physically stop Ashton.
Meanwhile, Julius, with a mix of scorn and resignation, remarked, “I had a few tricks up my sleeve, but your meddling has cost us the prime treatment window. Now, there’s little I can do p>
The girls, overhearing Fraser and Julius, clenched their jaws in frustration.
Ashton continued his emergency aid on Selena, and the girls stood by, overwhelmed by worry yet too apprehensive to intrude, fearing the consequences of any misstep.
Amidst the tension, Ashton steadfastly ignored the mounting pressure from Fraser and Julius.
After performing CPR, Selena’s condition stabilized enough for Ashton to start Divine Acupuncture.
He turned to the bewildered group of girls and said, “I need your help now. Please gather around us and shield us from prying eyes p>
Ashton then looked directly at Jenna. “You’re closest to Selena, aren’t you? Can you help me lift her shirt?” The girls were shocked by Ashton’s request.

Jenna alone stood immobile, caught in her thoughts.

Startled by his urgency, Jenna sprang into action. Ashton’s earnest tone and grave expression steadied her nerves.
Jenna squatted down, gingerly raised the edge of Selena’s shirt, and gradually lifted it.
She issued a stern warning. “If you try anything improper with Selena, I won’t let it slide p>
Ashton remained silent, his gaze fixed intently on Selena’s smooth abdomen.
Suddenly, several silver needles materialized in his hand, catching the light and shimmering slightly.
With a swift motion, Ashton’s hand flicked, and the needles sank precisely into the skin between Selena’s chest and abdomen.
Jenna’s eyes went wide with astonishment. She hadn’t even blinked, and the needles were already in place.
How had he managed that?
Ashton was not yet finished. His hands danced again, seamlessly blending acupuncture, massage, and acupressure into what looked more like a choreographed performance than a medical emergency, leaving Jenna in awe.
Time seemed to blur, and it was only when Ashton let out a deep sigh that Jenna realized the session had ended. Ashton carefully removed the needles, and then raised his eyes to Jenna with a reassuring smile.
